Hovi Care Ltd’s operations were evaluated in May 2026 as part of the internationally recognized ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification process. The independent assessment was conducted by Liisa Rantakokko from Kiwa Sertifiointi Ltd. The results confirmed that Hovi Care’s management system is effective and compliant with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard. The audit results demonstrate the organization’s strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
The audit highlighted Hovi Care’s strong quality culture and systematic leadership practices. According to the report, quality management and risk management are integrated into daily operations. Thus creating tangible added value for residents and their families.
Particular attention was given to Hovi Care’s international operations and development work in Asia. The report noted that Hovi Care Singapore has undergone significant renewal, including leadership changes and operational rebuilding, and that the situation is now developing positively. In addition, a new unit has been opened, and Hovi Care is preparing to launch a new concept in Jakarta aimed at active seniors.
One of the key strengths identified in the audit was Hovi Care’s internal accreditation model.
Operations are evaluated through the Hovi Accreditation star-rating system, which supports continuous quality improvement and transparent assessment practices. The Orchard unit achieved a Gold Level rating, demonstrating a high standard of care and operational excellence.
The audit also praised the organization’s proactive approach to risk management and future planning. Hovi Care continuously evaluates both risks and opportunities at different organizational levels. This ensures that services remain safe, sustainable, and responsive to changing needs.
Another important area highlighted in the report was staff development and competence management.
Through HoviAcademy, employee training and completed courses can now be monitored transparently at an individual level. This enables targeted support and continuous professional development.
The auditors also emphasized Hovi Care’s strong use of Key performance indicators and structured follow-up processes. Customer feedback, operational metrics, and employee wellbeing are actively monitored and used to improve services and strengthen everyday care practices.
