Christmas Celebration at Hovi Club Ulu Pandan
Our staff organised a Christmas Celebration for our clients on 20 December 2023. The celebration started with a Musical Experience as clients sang Christmas carols. They also performed “Jingle Bell Rock”, where they were grouped into two groups. One group followed the actions of a video clip recorded by staff, while another group followed a staff to play the drumstick and handmade boomwhacker.
Our clients were also brought through a journey of Christmas Reminiscence as they watched a video clip that showcased their past few weeks of Christmas preparations such as hanging Christmas ornaments. Clients also recalled the highlights of Christmas and they shared their thoughts as we asked them:

Santa Claus visited and gifts were handed out
Our clients were thrilled as our very own Santa Claus greeted them to the song “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and took photographs with each of them. Santa Claus then led them in a time of Exercise and Stretching.
Exciting Games were planned for our clients.They played Musical Chairs where they passed a ball. When the music stopped and a client held the ball, the client sang his or her favourite song and picked a gift from the lucky dip. They also played Pop the Balloon and received a gift.
Each client received Handmade Christmas Gifts which they made together with staff. The gifts included upcycled Christmas ornaments with resin flowers. These flowers were preserved from our Grand Opening on 25 Oct 2023. They also received wooden Christmas ornaments which they painted and decorated as well as snacks.
A sumptuous Christmas Meal was served during lunch and tea break. We would like to thank our sponsors for contributing to the wide spread of food. Our clients enjoyed the food and the social interaction. They went home with smiles and Christmas cheer.
